Vegan restaurants in Paris
Written by Gillian McKeith
Paris resisted vegan cooking for a very long time and I understand why. When your entire tradition runs on butter and cream, taking both away leaves a chef with real work to do. The handful of Paris kitchens that have done that work are excellent, because they had to be.
This is a short list on purpose. I would rather send you to five good tables than thirty indifferent ones, and nobody has paid for a place on it.

I'm Gillian McKeith: television presenter, creator of the global hit show You Are What You Eat, writer, nutritionist, and the editor behind this guide. Every Paris entry here is chosen and written by me. I judge kitchens on the things that actually matter: real ingredients, honest sourcing, vegetables cooked with care, and food you feel better for eating.
Nothing on this page is a paid placement. Restaurants cannot buy a recommendation, and any listing marked as sponsored is labelled as such. If a kitchen slips, it comes out of the guide.
