Healthy restaurants in Berlin.
Written by Gillian McKeith
Berlin is arguably the vegan capital of Europe, and what I admire is how lightly it wears the title. The good places here are unfussy, affordable and consistently better than they need to be.
Kreuzberg, Neukolln and Mitte all feature: bio cafes, vegan dining rooms and kitchens buying from Brandenburg growers just outside the city.
I judge on ingredients and cooking, never on how a place chooses to describe itself.
