Vegan restaurants in Berlin
Written by Gillian McKeith
Berlin will feed you vegan food at any hour, at almost any price, and much of it is very good indeed. The city is also the world capital of the mock meat sandwich, and I have no interest in that. Seitan in a bun is not nutrition, it is lunch.
The kitchens here that cook with real vegetables do it beautifully and cheaply. Those are the ones I have listed, with no arrangement of any kind.

I'm Gillian McKeith: television presenter, creator of the global hit show You Are What You Eat, writer, nutritionist, and the editor behind this guide. Every Berlin entry here is chosen and written by me. I judge kitchens on the things that actually matter: real ingredients, honest sourcing, vegetables cooked with care, and food you feel better for eating.
Nothing on this page is a paid placement. Restaurants cannot buy a recommendation, and any listing marked as sponsored is labelled as such. If a kitchen slips, it comes out of the guide.
