"Family-run Greek and Cypriot restaurant in Primrose Hill with a meze menu that vegetarians can actually feast on."

Lemonia has been feeding Primrose Hill since 1979 from a bright corner dining room that still feels like a neighbourhood secret. The Greek and Cypriot cooking here is generous, unpretentious and built around vegetables, pulses, grains and olive oil. Meze is the way to eat: dips, dolmades, halloumi, grilled aubergine, giant beans and enough flatbread to mop it all up. There is plenty of fish and meat for those who want it, but vegetarians do not get the usual afterthought menu. The atmosphere is loud, warm and thoroughly unshowy.
