"A hand-carved Tajik teahouse serving global plates, big salads and one of the finest tea lists in Colorado."
The Teahouse was a gift from Boulder's sister city Dushanbe, hand-carved and hand-painted in Tajikistan then shipped over piece by piece. I like it because the setting has not made the kitchen lazy. Brunch and lunch bring proper vegetable plates, pulses and grains, and there are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices without a fuss. Then there is the tea: a serious list, brewed with care, which is a rarer thing than it should be. Reservations are taken for dinner and for afternoon tea.
